The post holder will be expected to work closely with the ward managers and the wider MDT to provide a safe and effective service and also be expected to work closely with the relevant community teams and contribute to providing an effective care pathway for patients across the service. The post holder will be the Responsible Clinician (RC) for patients under their care on Tower Ward for patients detained under the Mental Health Act and expected to carry out the duties expected of an RC knowledgably and in a timely manner. The post holder will be expected to be knowledgeable of the Mental Capacity Act and be proficient at applying it appropriately to patient care. You must have full GMC registration and be on the Specialist Register, with an appropriate CCT or equivalent or be within six months of obtaining your CCT on the date of the AAC.
