A leading healthcare provider in Hemel Hempstead is seeking a Consultant Neurophysiologist to join their Neurology department. The role involves conducting a variety of neurophysiology tests and working alongside a team of specialists. The ideal candidate should have experience in neurophysiology outpatient clinics and a strong commitment to professional development. West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospital wishes to appoint a Consultant Neurophysiologist to be part of the Neurology department consisting of ten Consultant Neurologists and one Consultant Neurophysiologist who all have joint appointments with regional Neuroscience units at the Royal Free Hospital or the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. Neurophysiology outpatient clinics are held on two sites (Hemel and Watford).
This post will be outpatients and will have link to the Royal Free Hospital Neurology department for CPD duties will include: West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospital will be the employer for the appointment and will issue the contract of employment.
All Consultants will be allocated 1 core SPA per week for professional development (CPD), Job Planning, Appraisal, Mandatory Training, attendance at regular team meetings which will have a clinical governance aspect and participating in Audit.
