A leading healthcare institution in London is seeking a part-time medical liaison consultant. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring effective patient management and safeguarding. Duties include daily patient liaison, managing ward referrals, and supporting non-consultant staff. This role offers the opportunity for professional development in an inclusive environment. As a medical liaison consultant you will play a key part in supporting the flow of inpatients at RNOH, working with multiple specialist services at RNOH to ensure that patients are safely discharged with appropriate onward care in place. We are looking for a part‑time consultant to grow our team and develop this essential service. Of the 4 PA, 2 PA will be dedicated to Medical Liaison and the other 2 PA to managing Safeguarding across the Trust.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop specialist interests depending on their professional needs and have time working in a teaching capacity with specialist registrars across the Trust.

This is a 4 PA role responsible for medical liaison and safeguarding. 2 PA will be DCC with involvement in ward huddles, HDU reviews and board rounds as well as reviews of any patients requiring Medical review. SPA is included for CPD, teaching, audit and quality work and service development.
