Job summary

A dynamic and nationally recognised service is seeking a passionate Consultant Hepatologist to join their expansive Gastroenterology & Hepatology department in Giffnock. The role involves providing specialized patient care, participating in clinical research, and contributing to the new University Medical School opening in 2024. Ideal candidates will have full GMC registration, expertise in hepatology and upper GI endoscopy, and a commitment to teaching and research.

The Role

• Provideoutpatient, endoscopy & inpatient care(1:5 on-call rota).
• Join theemergency endoscopy rota (1:8)with weekend/bank holiday reviews.
• Developsub-specialty interests(e.g., hepatobiliary, research, teaching).
• Collaborate withmultidisciplinary teamsandnational networks.

Full GMC registration + MRCP (or equivalent)
