Job description

Kekst CNC Defines Reputation When It Matters Most.

We counsel CEOs, boards, and leadership teams as they seek to grow, transform and protect their businesses. For more than 50 years, companies and institutions have turned to Kekst CNC in high-stakes situations – transactions, transformation, shareholder activism, crises and regulatory scrutiny. In these moments, how a business defines its reputation shapes its future. Our heritage lies at the intersection of strategy, capital markets and reputation. We combine senior counsel, deep insight, critical judgement and rigorous execution so that strategy and communication reinforce each other and drive measurable outcomes.

Kekst CNC Intelligence are looking for a highly motivated Consultant (Intelligence) to join and contribute to a growing and ambitious team. We are the fully integrated specialists at Kekst CNC, with a close relationship with our colleagues at Publicis Groupe, who deliver data-led insights, strategies and campaigns for our clients.

This is an opportunity for someone ready to take ownership of client relationships, lead projects and contribute to new business, while remaining closely involved in the work itself. You will advise senior clients on how digital audiences and conversations shape reputation, risk and opportunity, turning rigorous analysis into clear strategies and effective campaigns.

You will work alongside Consultants, Directors and Partners on national and global mandates across sectors including FMCG and energy. From the outset, you will lead defined areas of client work, exercise sound judgement in sensitive or fast-moving situations, and help connect digital intelligence with broader corporate and financial communications advice. This will require deep social media and online audience understanding, effective research approaches, and crucially the ability to build strategies that can shift perceptions, manage and alleviate risk, and improve reputations.

We focus on the following four areas:

  • Strategic advisory: Bespoke, judgement and data-led intelligence for the most complex and sensitive situations – where the quality of analysis determines the outcome.
  • Packaged solutions: Repeatable, scaleable intelligence products that bring structure and rigor to risk assessment.
  • Applied AI & Engineering: AI-enabled intelligence systems designed, bespoke built and deployed into live client environments.
  • Creative & activation: Combining creative strategy with innovative storytelling to deliver content and campaigns that resonate with audiences.

You will play a central role in developing the Kekst CNC Intelligence offering: strengthening client relationships, identifying opportunities for growth, contributing to proposals and helping colleagues across our global offices apply the latest digital tools and thinking. You will bring both the strategic judgement to advise clients with confidence and the practical expertise to deliver work of a consistently high standard.

Your impact:

If you already have experience playing a digital role in strategic communications and are ready for the next step in your career, this could be an exciting opportunity for you. In this role, you will be:

  • A content advisor: plan and execute digitally led campaigns, including ongoing content calendar management, managing online and social media channels, and measuring the results. You will be confident in supporting efforts to shape content marketing strategies and creative content implementations.
  • A data-driven digital expert: understand Search Engine Optimization (SEO), to advise on content creation and ongoing website authority building. You have experience of conducting online audience and topic analysis using tools such as Pulsar, Quid, Audiense, etc.
  • A passionate and skillful writer: crafting articles and blog posts on behalf of clients, as well as advising on different writing styles. You will also draft key strategic communications materials, including communications plans, press releases, and presentations.
  • A social native: have an existing understanding or have a keen ability to learn about social media and online advertising, including targeting and supporting sponsored posts through content as well as Google PPC and native advertising.
  • Forward thinking: have a keen interest in continually developing Kekst CNC’s digital capabilities, including experimenting with new tools and methodologies to deliver client programs and create new service offerings. This includes staying up to date with trends, issues, and challenges that affect clients' businesses and industries using digital tools, including the use of generative AI in communications.
  • Active in the industry: support the planning, organization and management of various events including interviews, media roundtables, and press conferences. Develop and nurture a strong network with relevant stakeholders, including online influencers, and other key contacts.
  • Client focused: build and maintain excellent client relationships and continuously deliver work that exceeds our clients' expectations, dealing with high pressure and time-sensitive situations. You will develop excellent client knowledge and understanding to give concise, accurate overviews of each client’s business, communications objectives, and deliver digital and PR strategies.

Join us if you have:

  • Some previous comms experience: The Consultant (Intelligence) role is for those entering the industry or who have professional experience in strategic communications, either at a PR agency or at an in-house communications role.
  • Earned a bachelor’s degree.
  • Proven capabilities in digital and social media, including content creation, social media listening and Natural Language Processing, community management, paid media management and influencer campaigns.
  • Experience using industry tools, with capability and enthusiasm to learn. Previous industry tools may be or similar to Pulsar, Factiva, Quid and Moz.
  • Excellent verbal communications and presentation skills: fluency in spoken and written English are a must, and additional language skills are a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail, enthusiasm, strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong command of all Microsoft Office programs.
  • The right to work in the UK and can demonstrate it if requested.
  • We’re a great place to work: Kekst CNC offers an inspiring working atmosphere, characterized by the highest level of professionalism in a challenging environment, lots of fun at work, and an open corporate culture where you can be yourself. We value diversity highly and are certain that we work better because of our differences; we best serve our clients by bringing together diverse skills, experiences, and backgrounds. The London office is a sociable and dynamic workplace and continues to grow at a rapid pace. Kekst CNC is part of Publicis Groupe, the world's second-largest communications group. We are able to leverage the benefits of being a part of Publicis, especially their AI capabilities.
  • A great place to learn: Our offering includes substantial training modules, an office exchange programme and a hybrid home office model. In support of our exciting development opportunities, we offer substantial training opportunities, and you will be assigned a Professional Development Advisor when you join.
  • A range of benefits: We offer a competitive salary, bonus scheme, a generous finder’s fee, the opportunity for short-term transfer between offices (90 days), private health insurance, employee assistance program, flexible public holiday policy (so you can celebrate the days which are special to you without having to comprise your own holiday allowance), volunteering hours, and much more!
  • A truly global perspective: Although you will be based in London, you’ll join an international team and support with cross-border projects, interacting with clients and colleagues all over the globe.

The recruitment process will consist of several steps, such as interviews, tests, and reference checks. We look forward to your application!
