A Health and Social Care Organization in Plymouth is seeking a Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine with a special interest in Stroke. The role involves leading the Stroke Rehabilitation Unit, providing outpatient care, and contributing to service development. Ideal candidates must have full GMC registration and relevant experience. Livewell Southwest is pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine with a special interest in Stroke to join our dynamic and evolving multidisciplinary team at Mount Gould Hospital.
This is a key leadership role within our stroke rehabilitation pathway, offering a diverse and rewarding mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, with opportunities to contribute to service development and innovation.

Interviews are stoke to take place week commencing 15 December 2025.
The successful applicant will:
You will be supported by a team of four Rehabilitation Medicine Consultants (two based at Mount Gould and two at University Hospitals Plymouth), with cross-cover primarily provided by colleagues at Mount Gould.
We are also exploring a rotational model across stroke, neurorehabilitation, and community services to enhance consultant leadership and exposure across settings. Applicants are welcome to express interest in this model.
