We'd like you to join us as a Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine at the Nottingham Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre. This position is part time - 2 days per week.
Located in Hucknall on the outskirts of Nottingham, we specialise in the treatment, care and support of individuals aged 18 and over with physical and cognitive impairments as a result of brain injury or other progressive neurological conditions. With three distinct, yet complementary, services on one site, we offer flexible care options from our specialist on-site team.
Our clinical team is highly trained in the rehabilitation and care of adults with brain injuries and other neurological conditions. They are supported by a team of housekeeping, catering, maintenance and administration staff.
Patients are able to access local adapted swimming and hydrotherapy services and have various outdoor areas at the service to enjoy.
We have links with a local spasticity clinic allowing to support those who require Botox treatment.
Our highly skilled MDT team includes a hospital director, unit managers, consultant medical doctors, neuropsychologist, head of therapies, nurses (RGNS and RMNS), occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, physiotherapists, assistant psychologist, therapy assistants, activity coordinators.
