Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology - 10 PAs (additional 0.5 PAs)
We are looking for two enthusiastic, forward‑thinking Consultants to join the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Team. The successful candidates will work alongside the existing team to help grow, develop and innovate the service to meet modern standards of care.
The Trust and Department are focused on meeting the challenges presented in the recent national review of maternity services, as well as delivering innovative models of care in Gynaecology, as part of the Trust's transition to a complete integrated care organisation with our community health, local authority and social care partners.
The department has a strong track record of postgraduate and undergraduate training.
Successful candidates must be qualified and proficient in gynaecology scanning and able to undertake major gynaecology surgery.
The successful candidate will join the non‑resident on‑call rota. At present this is a 1:15, covering both obstetrics and gynaecology. The job plan will be flexible, depending on the specialist skills of the successful candidate.
The job plan will be agreed ahead of commencing employment.
