University College London Hospitals (UCLH) is seeking to appoint a consultant to the department of Neuroanaesthesia and Neurocritical care at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. The post is required to meet the planned increase in clinical activity this year as well as ensuring a consultant‑led service at all times.

The department of Neuroanaesthesia and Neurocritical Care comprises 29 consultants and 39 trainees. This post supports all aspects of anaesthesia for neurosurgery and interventional neuroradiology, including Mechanical Thrombectomy. The consultant will run fixed sessions, cover consultant leave and provide a consultant‑led service at all times.
