An established NHS Trust is seeking a full-time Dermatology Consultant to join their Specialist Medicine Division. The ideal candidate will lead the dermatology team, delivering high-quality care across outpatient and inpatient services without on-call responsibilities. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Dermatology Consultant at East Sussex Healthcare in the Specialist Medicine Division. You will join our established Dermatology teams, including consultants, nursing staff, specialty trust doctors, and General Practitioners with a special interest in Dermatology.
The department seeks an individual who is experienced, dynamic, and committed to delivering services reflecting best clinical practice in Dermatology. The ideal candidate will have experience in diagnosing and managing all aspects of general dermatology, including skin cancer and inflammatory skin diseases, with assessment and treatment.
This post provides consultant leadership in supervising junior medical and nursing teams to deliver high-quality, safe outpatient and inpatient care. The role includes supporting inpatient referrals and offering clinical expertise to referring medical teams. This position does not include on-call commitments.
Nurse-led services include skin surgery, phototherapy, photodynamic therapy, drug monitoring/biologics clinics, patch testing, and intralesional steroid and Botox injections.
