Job Title:Consultant in Adult Psychiatry
Grade: Consultant
Location:Lairg, Sutherland
Working Hours:40 hours per week
Rate:Competitive, to be discussed upon application

We are seeking a committed Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to work full-time for our NHS client based in Lairg, Sutherland. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start.

What will your responsibilities be?

This role involves working across inpatient and Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) settings, focusing on adult psychiatry. Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality psychiatric care, conducting comprehensive assessments, and supporting the development of individualised treatment plans. The successful candidate must hold Section 12 approval. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team and ensure compliance with the Mental Health Act and other relevant legislation.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Full GMC registration (essential)
• Section 12 approval
• Experience in adult psychiatry across inpatient and community settings
• Strong clinical and communication skills
