Main duties of the job

Essential
  • Broad experience in Geriatric Medicine /Care of Older Person or General Internal Medicine
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Understanding of NHS structures and community care pathways
  • Interest or experience in research or service evaluation

  • Full MRCP, MRCGP or equivalent
  • Entry on GMC Specialist Register (Geriatrics & GIM) or within 6 months of CCT at time of interview
  • Experience in community or intermediate care settings
  • Ability to manage complex patients in a community setting
