A major UK healthcare provider is seeking a dedicated Gastroenterologist to join a committed team on the Wirral Peninsula. The role requires a broad-based gastroenterology background and subspecialist clinical or endoscopy interests, focusing on HPB and luminal services. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide critical consultative care without participating in the general medical acute on-call rota.
Post will join a committed team of 10 Substantive Gastroenterologists on the Wirral Peninsula. The Gastroenterology Unit sub‑specialises in hepato‑pancreatobiliary (HPB) and luminal services. The appointee should have a broad based gastroenterology background with subspecialist clinical or endoscopy interests. Additional PAs over the basic 10 PA contract may be offered, formalised depending on service needs.

If required, the cost of submitting & processing the DBS will be recovered via salary deduction following commencement.
