Overview

Post will join a committed team of 10 Substantive Gastroenterologists on the Wirral Peninsula. The Gastroenterology Unit sub‑specialises in hepato‑pancreatobiliary (HPB) and luminal services. The appointee should have a broad based gastroenterology background with subspecialist clinical or endoscopy interests. Additional PAs over the basic 10 PA contract may be offered, formalised depending on service needs.

Responsibilities

• Not required to take part in the general medical acute on call rota.
• Will be part of the GI bleed rota.
• Provide consultative care across HPB and luminal services.

Standard Disclosure is £21.50 plus £6.50 administration fee or Enhanced Disclosure £49.50 plus £6.50. The fee may be deducted in manageable instalments over up to 3 months.
