A leading mental health care provider in the UK seeks a Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist to join their Specialist Community Forensic Team. The role involves working with a complex caseload, providing clinical leadership, and supporting discharge processes for secure ward patients. Candidates must be registered with the GMC and have relevant qualifications in forensic psychiatry. This is a chance to impact mental health services across North West London.
Applications are invited from candidates with experience of Forensic Psychiatry or General Adult Psychiatry for a Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist post in Specialist Community Forensic Team (SCFT), Ealing, Hammersmith & Hounslow (EHH) hub West London Forensic Service. Applicants must be registered with a licence to practice with the GMC. Inclusion on the Specialist Register or within six months of interview is a requirement. All applicants should have Section 12 Approval and Approved Clinician status or be able to apply. Applicants need to inform us in advance if they are under any formal investigation processes by any organisations including General Medical Council (GMC).
This is a replacement post. In 2021, the Trust was successful with our bid to implement our Specialist Community Forensic Team (SCFT) model across the whole of North West and Central London. The service covers 8 North West London boroughs in three hubs (Brent, Harrow & Hillingdon (BHH), Ealing, Hammersmith & Hounslow (EHH) and Kensington, Chelsea & Westminster KCW).
