Job description
Overview

The East London NHS Foundation Trust (ELFT) is seeking a Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist to work at Wolfson House, providing clinical leadership to a multidisciplinary team on Loxford Ward and supervising a small group of patients discharged from the inpatient forensic service.

Responsibilities
  • Hold consultant responsibility for approximately 10 patients under the care of the Waltham Forest Community Forensic Team and for inpatient patients on Loxford Ward.
  • Provide clinical leadership to the Waltham Forest Community Forensic Team and to the Loxford Ward multidisciplinary team.
  • Supervise patient care and support staff within the forensic service.
Working Hours

This is a full‑time 10 PA appointment. The postholder will spend approximately 8 PA working on Loxford Ward and 2 PA working with the Waltham Forest Community Forensic Team. Flexible working arrangements can be discussed.
