Locum Consultant in General Surgery - UK-Wide Opportunities | Medacs Healthcare

Job Title: Locum Consultant in General Surgery

Location: [Insert location or region]

Contract Type: Locum (short-term and long-term assignments available)

Start Date: Monday 21st December until Sunday 27th December, covering 08.00-18.00 each day plus on call nights on Mon, Wed, Fri, and Sat (18.00-08.00)

Must be JAG accredited - if not, must be able to provide scope audit data.

Suitable evidence would include:

• Official extracts from NED, JETs or local ERS databases.
• Personal contemporaneously maintained endoscopy logbooks reporting KPIs kept by the endoscopist would also be acceptable.
• Endoscopists must meet and or exceed the minimum KPI requirement for annual independent practice as listed on the JAG website.
• A letter from the Clinical Lead for Endoscopy from home or most recent NHS endoscopy department stating the locum has recently had satisfactory endoscopic practice would also be acceptable.
