18 Week Support is seeking experienced Consultant Dermatologists to join Southampton NHS teams for weekend insourcing lists, supporting waiting list initiatives. You will assess patients on hospital waiting lists, interpret tests, and work within multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care.

The role offers flexible weekend sessions with dedicated support from dermatology nurses and HCAs, aiming to reduce patient waiting times while maintaining a patient-centred service model.

Formación

• GMC registration with Specialist Register accreditation in Dermatology.
• Active Licence to Practise.
• Proven experience working as a Consultant Dermatologist within the NHS.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and make sound clinical decisions.

Responsabilidades

• Assess and treat patients on hospital waiting lists.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and clinical findings.
• Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Provide clinical guidance to junior medical staff where appropriate.
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation, including follow-up recommendations.

We are currently seeking experienced Consultant Dermatologists to join our Southampton teams for weekend insourcing lists, supporting NHS waiting list initiatives across:

(Wide local excisions, head/neck/face/body).

This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced colleagues in a well-supported, patient-focused environment while offering additional flexible weekend sessions.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

• Assess and treat patients on hospital waiting lists.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and clinical findings.

• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation, including follow-up recommendations for Trust pathways.
