This is an outstanding opportunity to help shape the future of Dermatology services in a forward-thinking, research-active and patient-centred department. You will join a friendly, multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality outpatient, procedural and specialist dermatology care to a diverse local population. The Dermatology service at Wythenshawe Hospital is well-established and benefits from strong links with community services and specialist centres across MFT. The department enjoys excellent nurse specialist support, including dermatology surgery, phototherapy, and biologic therapy. There are active research opportunities, with access to clinical trials and collaboration with the University of Manchester.

  • Hold full GMC registration with a licence to practise
  • Possess CCT in Dermatology (or be within 6 months of achieving CCT at interview date)

Main duties of the job

The successful applicant will contribute to:

  • General dermatology outpatient clinics
  • Skin cancer services, including two-week-wait clinics
  • Minor ops and dermatological surgery (depending on experience)
