Job summary

NHS Tayside invites applications for a full time consultant pathology post based in Ninewells Hospital, Dundee (10 Programmed Activities). The department is well resourced and collaborates with Genetics for molecular pathology pathways; a modernised service with digital pathology rollout is in progress.

Applicants should have GMC registration and higher specialist training (or be near entry on the GMC Specialist Register).

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration or licence to practise required.
• Higher specialist training leading to CCT or near entry on the GMC Specialist Register.
• Flexible working; part-time applications encouraged.
• Interest in lymphoreticular pathology is sought and may be combined with other subspecialties.

Responsibilities

• Support a consultant cellular pathology service with duties in cellular pathology.
• Engage in digital pathology initiatives and collaborate with genetics and molecular pathology pathways.
• Flexible working arrangements and EPAs available by negotiation; part-time applicants are encouraged to apply.
