Job summary

Medacs Healthcare is recruiting locum Consultant in Breast Surgery across UK-wide opportunities tailored to your availability and preferences. The role offers flexible long-term or short-term assignments with 20 hours per week and around three new clinics weekly, enabling you to balance NHS commitments with clinical variety.

You will join a dedicated team, provide expert breast surgical care, participate in MDT input, and support service development.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise.
• A current DBS check or PVG check, or willingness to obtain one.
• UK Right to Work.
• Strong communication and teamworking skills.
• Desirable: CCT in Breast Surgery (or within 6 months of achievement).

Location: North West

Rate: £105 - £115 per hour

Contract Type: Locum (long-term)

Start Date: 8th September

20hrs per week (this is flexible)

3 new patient clinics per week

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• Full GMC registration with a licence to practise
• A current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or PVG check - or a willingness to undergo one as part of the registration process
• UK Right to Work
• Strong communication and teamworking skills

Desirable:

• CCT in Breast Surgery (or within 6 months of achieving it)
