We are seeking a talented individual to join our Claims Consulting practice within Marsh Advisory. This role can be based in our Manchester, Birmingham or London office. It is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office, with some additional business travel.
The role: Claims Project Consultant
Responsibilities
- Your work will support: prevention of incidents, better defence of claims, manage claims more effectively, manage claim vendors and TPAs, help develop and train client personnel.
- The work will also network with internal customers and promote our proposition to the wider Marsh business to help achieve business growth.
- Work in conjunction with the Claims Consulting Leader to deliver high quality and consistent project output which meets client/project objectives and is delivered on time.
- Attend client and Marsh office visits.
- Identify and facilitate a pipeline of sales opportunities of effective risk management solutions for clients across Motor and Casualty risks.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure all tasks relating to Consulting work are dealt with promptly and with accuracy.
- Drive claims product development and the promotion of Marsh solutions to both clients and insurers.
- Provide project support on claims matters such as process streamlining, identification of cost leakage, auditing of suppliers, benchmarking, claims cost reduction, training and supplier review/appointment, risk management and claim prevention/reduction strategies.
- Deliver industry material and coaching advice to client workforce.
- Develop a strong working relationship with Claims Executives, Client Executives, Clients, and Insurers.
What you need to have
- Legal / Insurance Claims industry experience with a focus on Motor and Liability Claims.
- Claims background and knowledge of cross-class claims handling.
- Ability to work as part of a team and within a collaborative environment.
- Ability to take ownership of own projects to meet timescales and budgets.
- Solution focus to enable recommendations to impact clients senior leadership teams and policy.
- Confident communicator and presenter.
- Ability to influence and build relationships.
