Job summary

A leading construction firm in Plymouth seeks a Construction Training Coordinator for a 12-month maternity cover. In this role, you will coordinate training logistics, ensure compliance with industry regulations, and manage relationships with training providers. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Learning Management Systems. This is an opportunity to enhance training efficacy in a live MOD site environment, requiring BPSS security clearance.

Qualifications

• Construction experience with knowledge of CITB, CSCS/CPCS.
• Experience coordinating apprenticeships, graduate programmes.
• Prior qualifications in training coordination or HR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule construction-related training programs.
• Assist in developing training materials specific to operations.
• Maintain accurate training records and course attendance.
• Liaise with management to ensure training needs are met.
• Manage relationships with external training providers.
• Support the rollout of a new digital system for training.
