Job summary

RGM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Traffic Marshal for a short-term role at a site in Deal, Kent. The role involves directing and controlling site traffic, marshalling vehicles, and guiding deliveries while ensuring pedestrian safety and compliance with health and safety procedures.

Applicants must hold a valid CSCS card and Traffic Marshal ticket, wear full PPE, and have good communication skills. Availability to work 13–21 October 2026 is required.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS card is required.
• Valid Traffic Marshal ticket is required.
• Full PPE must be worn at all times.
• Experience as Traffic Marshal on construction sites.
• References available on request.
• Good communication skills.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Good site health and safety awareness.
• Able to direct and communicate with site traffic confidently.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Professional attitude and work ethic.
• Available to work from Tuesday 13th October to Wednesday 21st October 2026.

Responsibilities

• Direct traffic safely on site.
• Marshalling vehicles entering and leaving.
• Guide delivery vehicles into position.
• Assist drivers with reversing and manoeuvring.
• Ensure pedestrians and vehicles are separated.
• Monitor site access and keep entrances clear.
• Communicate with drivers, operatives and supervisors.
• Maintain a safe traffic flow around the site.
• Follow traffic management and health and safety procedures.
• Report hazards to the Site Manager.
• Carry out general site duties as required.
• Maintain a professional and helpful attitude.
