Sellick Partnership is partnering with a leading infrastructure organisation to recruit a Construction Solicitor for its in-house Legal team in London. The role centers on NEC4 contracts, major procurement and developing commercial frameworks for future projects.

You will advise senior stakeholders, manage contractual risks and support mobilisation and contract development in a hybrid London/Peterborough setup.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with experience drafting and negotiating complex construction contracts.
• Strong NEC4 contract experience, including supplier agreements.
• Approximately 10 years' PQE; candidates with less may be considered if the expertise is right.
• Experience advising on major construction or infrastructure projects.

Construction Solicitor

£100,000 + Bonus

Sellick Partnership is working with a leading organisation in the infrastructure sector to recruit a Construction Solicitor to join its in-house Legal team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced construction solicitor to work on major infrastructure projects, negotiate high-value contracts and play a key role in shaping long-term commercial arrangements within a complex environment.

With a significant programme of investment planned, this role offers the chance to take ownership of complex legal matters, work closely with senior stakeholders and influence projects that will have a lasting impact.

The Role

You’ll work closely with the Heads of Legal and wider business, providing specialist legal support across procurement, contract development and implementation.

A key focus will be drafting and negotiating complex NEC4 construction contracts, supporting major tender processes and helping develop contractual frameworks for future infrastructure projects.

Construction Solicitor Key Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate high-value construction contracts, with a particular focus on NEC4 agreements.
• Provide legal support throughout complex procurement and tender processes.

About You

• A qualified solicitor with experience drafting and negotiating complex construction contracts.
• Strong experience with NEC4 contracts, including construction supplier agreements.
• Ideally around 10 years' PQE, although candidates with less experience and the right expertise will be considered.
• Experience advising on major construction, engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Confident managing contractual negotiations and advising senior stakeholders.
