We are recruiting on behalf of a highly reputable construction and development firm with a strong portfolio in the commercial and residential care sector. They are about to break ground on a brand-new 60-bed care home project in Lowestoft and are seeking an experienced and driven Site Manager to lead delivery on site.

The Project:

This is a purpose-built, high-specification care home designed to meet modern standards of elderly care, including dementia-friendly design features.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Day-to-day management of all site operations, ensuring programme, budget, and quality targets are met.
  • Coordination and supervision of subcontractors and trades.
  • Maintain a strong focus on health & safety, ensuring full compliance with regulations.
  • Regular reporting to senior management and client teams.
  • Management of site logistics, materials, and resource planning.
  • Drive quality assurance and snagging process.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience managing residential or care home projects (ideally £5m+ in value).
  • SMSTS, CSCS (Black Card preferred), and First Aid certifications essential.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.
  • Excellent understanding of current health & safety standards and building regulations.
  • Able to work collaboratively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
