Job summary

RG Setsquare is seeking a Labourer for site-based support on construction and maintenance projects in Oxford (OX4). This temporary position involves assisting skilled trades, handling materials, keeping the site clean and organized, and adhering to safety rules.

The role requires physical fitness, the ability to perform demanding work, and a solid understanding of health and safety practices. CSCS is required to proceed on site. Prior experience is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• CSCS Card is required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment.
• Assist tradespeople such as painters, carpenters, electricians, and plumbers as required.
• Prepare and clean work areas before, during, and after tasks.
• Operate basic hand and power tools safely.
• Move materials and supplies around the site.
• Remove debris and waste materials from work areas.
• Follow health and safety regulations at all times.
• Assist with lifting, carrying, and positioning materials.
• Report any hazards, defects, or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Perform other general labour duties as assigned.
