Mission Essential is seeking a skilled and motivated Construction Security Technician to support U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) operations in the United Kingdom. This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in safeguarding sensitive construction projects and supporting national security objectives abroad. As a key member of our team, you will help ensure that construction and renovation activities meet strict security standards by identifying and mitigating potential threats. You’ll gain exposure to a variety of engineering disciplines and contribute directly to the security of U.S. Government assets overseas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop working knowledge of various construction disciplines including civil, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and electronic engineering.
  • Read and interpret architectural and engineering blueprints; analyze structural designs to detect any hidden or unintended features that may compromise security.
  • Apply expertise in technical surveillance countermeasures (TSCM) and construction security principles to monitor and protect secure spaces.
  • Implement and maintain compliance with ICD-705 security requirements throughout all phases of construction and renovation.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure construction integrity and adherence to classified security protocols.
