Construction Project Manager

Salary

£41,361+ depending on skills and experience.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support lead project managers across all project phases following the RIBA Plan of Work and company quality procedures.
• Lead small work packages or independent projects.
• Interpret client requirements, support design preparation, implement plans, coordinate specifications and prepare financial business cases.
• Procuring and coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams for new buildings, major refurbishments and large‑scale infrastructure upgrades.
• Safely manage and coordinate onsite contractor activities.
• Ensure all installations comply with statutory health & safety legislation, building control and CDM regulations.
• Provide budgetary and financial control for defined work packages and report to lead project manager.

Your Skills and Experiences

• Apprenticeship, HNC/D or Degree in Construction or Building Services ideal; other built‑environment disciplines considered.
• Knowledge of construction and/or manufacturing plant & equipment installations.
• Understanding of contractor management and Health & Safety compliance with CDM regulations.

About the Role

Act as a client‑side project manager to deliver facility upgrade and estates projects across BAE Systems sites, including infrastructure upgrades, utilities installation/removal, building refurbishments, new buildings, and plant & equipment installations. Role involves manufacturing environment exposure and occasional UK travel.
