You will lead client facing high‑profile capital projects that improve lives and reflect the values of inclusivity, sustainability, and excellence.
You will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects, with a focus on JCT contracts, and take the project lead from the feasibility stage through to construction completion including client support and contract administration. You will appoint and manage the consultant delivery team and have the responsibility for managing project programme, budget, risk and quality across multidisciplinary teams. You must have a close eye for detail and be able to deliver for multiple clients. You will also take a leading role in growing and promoting the project management function, including contributing to business strategy, team development and achieving income targets.

We’re seeking a visionary Project Manager with a passion for construction and a proven ability to lead projects using JCT contracts. You’ll be empowered to drive innovation, solve complex challenges, and deliver spaces that inspire.
As the projects are of varying complexity and wide ranging in scope, you will be given the opportunity to develop a wide skill set and experience and to develop your understanding of construction projects and project management.
The successful person will have responsibility and autonomy to deliver and manage projects ranging from £k - £10m+.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to play a key role within the Project Delivery Team to work collaboratively alongside our clients to understand their challenges and assist with resourcing solutions to resolve them, whilst evolving ways to deliver positive impacts and experiences for all parties and ensuring our projects contribute by supporting the Council’s commitment to the environmental and sustainability targets that benefit local communities and our global environment.
