Qualifications

• Successfully completed a Construction Plant Fitter Apprenticeship or equivalent recognised mechanical trade qualification.
• Full Clean Driving Licence.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Good IT and computer literacy skills.
• Effective communication and report-writing abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and professional workmanship.
• Positive attitude, reliability and teamwork.
• Eligible to live and work in Northern Ireland and/or the Republic of Ireland.
• Fluent English.

Responsabilités

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on construction plant machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic faults.
• Maintain and repair engines, transmissions, axles, hydraulic, fuel, brake and steering systems.
• Work with modern electrical systems including ECUs and CAN Bus technology.
• Conduct machinery testing, commissioning, and pre-delivery inspections.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and return machinery to service promptly and safely.
• Complete job documentation and update records in the ERP system.
• Identify and report additional repair requirements and faults to management.
• Maintain excellent customer relationships and represent the company professionally.
• Participate in manufacturer and company training programmes and adhere to safety procedures.
