Job summary

EDF Energy Limited is seeking a skilled Construction Planner to develop and maintain detailed Level 5 schedules for major nuclear projects in the UK. The role focuses on aligning long-range plans with milestones, coordinating across engineering, materials, access, and commissioning, and ensuring readiness with delivery teams on site.

Ideal candidates will hold an HNC in engineering and have significant experience in construction planning, including Primavera P6, in large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Requires HNC in engineering and significant construction planning experience.
• Proven ability to produce and maintain detailed project schedules.
• Experience engaging with multiple stakeholders on site-based projects.
• Familiarity with Primavera P6 and large-scale construction programmes.

• Develop and maintain detailed mechanical Level 5 construction schedules.
• Prepare and update mechanical four-week lookahead plans.
• Align schedules with the overall 16-week lookahead and programme milestones.
• Establish activity-level progress and quantity measurement requirements.
• Integrate engineering, materials, access, resources, quality and commissioning requirements.
• Confirm activity readiness with construction and delivery teams

Requirements:

• HNC in any engineering discipline
• Significant experience within a construction planning environment.
• Experience producing and maintaining detailed project schedules.
• Experience using Primavera P6 planning software.
• Experience working on large-scale construction, engineering, maintenance, outage or shutdown projects.
• Experience working in a site-based project environment and engaging with multiple stakeholders.
