Responsibilities
  • Lead on major non-contentious construction projects, advising on JCT and NEC contracts, development agreements, consultant appointments, collateral warranties, and framework agreements.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to a sophisticated client base of developers, investors, funds, contractors, and public sector bodies.
  • Take an active role in business development and client relationship management, with the full support of the firm's national platform.
  • Mentor and develop junior lawyers, contributing to the team's long‑term growth and success.
  • Collaborate with the wider real estate, banking, and projects teams on significant national and international mandates.
Candidate Requirements
  • Extensive experience in non-contentious construction law, ideally gained within a leading national or City practice.
  • A strong track record in managing complex, high‑value matters and delivering pragmatic commercial solutions.
  • An established client following of c.£750,000+ and a clear plan for ongoing business development.
