Our client is a leading law firm with offices in London, Birmingham, and Leeds. Recognised by Legal and Chambers UK, the firm are a medium-sized specialist firm with expertise in construction, projects, real estate, litigation, housing management, corporate, governance, banking, and employment.

The Opportunity

The firm has an unique opportunity for an ambitious senior construction lawyer to develop, lead, and manage the firm’s Birmingham-based Construction team. This is a senior leadership role within its thriving Construction, Engineering & Procurement team, which has grown by % in turnover over the past decade and is recognised for its expertise in the Building Safety Act 2 and complex construction disputes.


Suitable candidates need not to be a partner at their current firm, but will have :



  • A passion for building and running your own practice

  • Experience in contentious, non-contentious, or mixed construction law


What You’ll Do


  • Lead and grow a Birmingham-based construction team

  • Drive business development across the Midlands, including speaking at events and writing thought leadership pieces

  • Advise on all aspects of construction law, from procurement and contract amendments to disputes and adjudication

  • Manage client relationships, deliver practical and decisive advice, and oversee complex cases

  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider growth of the Construction team
