The Opportunity

The firm has a unique opportunity for an ambitious senior construction lawyer to develop, lead, and manage the firm's Birmingham‑based Construction team. This is a senior leadership role within its thriving Construction, Engineering & Procurement team, which has grown by 400% in turnover over the past decade and is recognised for its expertise in the Building Safety Act 2022 and complex construction disputes.

Suitable candidates
  • Minimum 10 years' PQE (England & Wales) as a construction solicitor
  • A passion for building and running your own practice
  • Experience in contentious, non‑contentious, or mixed construction law
What you'll do
  • Lead and grow a Birmingham‑based construction team
  • Drive business development across the Midlands, including speaking at events and writing thought leadership pieces
  • Advise on all aspects of construction law, from procurement and contract amendments to disputes and adjudication
  • Manage client relationships, deliver practical and decisive advice, and oversee complex cases
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the wider growth of the Construction team
