Job summary

MWH Treatment is seeking a Construction Manager to lead our Thames Water Region delivery from Guildford. You will manage Health, Safety, Environmental and Sustainability compliance across the construction program and lead a local delivery team to meet schemes on time and within budget.

The role requires extensive construction management experience, a degree in a construction discipline, and APMP or equivalent qualification, with strong leadership and client-facing communication skills.

Qualifications

• Project Management Experience.
• Degree or equivalent qualification in a construction related discipline.
• APMP or equivalent.
• Extensive experience in large scale programmes of construction delivery.
• Experience in the water / wastewater treatment industry.
• Experienced in management of and monitoring of Project Programmes.
• Working knowledge of CDM and construction Health & Safety.
• Excellent communicator with clients and end users.

Responsibilities

• Lead site construction teams to deliver projects within budget and time.
• Approve RAMS and monitor safety, time and quality of suppliers.
• Lead constructability reviews and project rehearsals for efficiency.
• Drive zero waste and lower embodied carbon in activities.
• Ensure timely contractual and commercial notices to the project team.
• Plan long and short-term resource needs (labour, plant, materials).
• Maintain CDM and Health & Safety compliance.
• Foster innovation and blended standard products.
