Responsibilities

  • Manage project paperwork.

  • Ensure all works are carried out to programme and budget.
  • Chair site meetings.
  • Coordinate with clients.
  • Create short-term programming.
  • Promote and enforce Health and Safety.
  • Report to Director.

Overview

An opportunity has arisen for a Construction Manager to join a privately owned, well established main contractor based in Reading, working on a full time, permanent basis. In this role you will be responsible for managing 4-5 live projects at any one time, within 15 miles of Reading, working from our client’s office. Typical projects will include extensions, refurbishments and new build projects up to the value of circa £5M. Our client takes immense pride in ensuring their employers feel valued and part of the family, and this is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate with an ambitious and successful team.

Responsibilities
  • Project paperwork.
  • Management of direct labour and subcontractors on site.
  • Ensuring all works are carried out to programme and budget.
  • Chairing site meetings.
  • Client liaison.
  • Short term programming.
  • Promoting and enforcing Health and Safety.
  • Reporting to Director.
