Job summary

MiCiM is seeking a Construction Manager to lead day-to-day site operations on a major data centre project in the UK South-East. You’ll work with site teams, logistics and trade contractors to implement plans, maintain safety and drive productivity in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes proactive problem solving, clear communication, and hands-on leadership. SMSTS or NEBOSH Construction accreditation is preferred; competitive compensation and enhanced benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

  • Keep the site running safely, smoothly and in line with our project plans.
  • Carry out regular quality and safety checks and closing out risks quickly.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, logistics and design information so work progresses on time.
  • Track packages, costs, changes and programme progress, escalating issues early.
  • Support procurement and helping manage trade contractors.
  • Making sure the right information flows quickly between teams and is properly recorded.
  • Leading or attending package meetings, design reviews, and client updates.
  • Managing 4-week look-aheads, long-lead items, deliveries and site logistics.
  • Supporting handover: sign-off, OMs, training and snagging.

About the role:

As a Construction Manager at MiCiM, you’ll be the heartbeat of day‑to‑day site operations; professional, approachable, and methodical in ensuring our projects run smoothly and safely. You’ll work closely with our site teams, logistics, and trade contractors to implement project plans and keep productivity high. You’ll also take initiative, learn quickly, and communicate confidently in a fast‑paced environment.

You will be responsible for:

What you’ll bring:
