Engineering @365 is working with an established engineering firm specialising in the design, manufacture and installation of structural steel and architectural metalwork who are looking to expand their team with a Construction manager, reporting directly to the construction director.

About the role:

This is a hands‑on construction manager position that will have responsibility and oversight for both on‑site installation and in‑house production.

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee projects involving architectural balustrading and secondary steelwork at both office and site levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the steel industry, with hands‑on site experience and the ability to manage projects from planning through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee construction activities for architectural and secondary steelwork projects.
• Supervise site installations, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule adherence.
• Develop and implement Safe Systems of Work (SSoW) and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
• Coordinate effectively between the design office, workshop, and site teams.
• Manage project timelines and liaise directly with site‑based clients to ensure project objectives are met.

What we're looking for:

• Proven on‑site construction management experience within the steel industry.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Proven on‑site experience in construction.
• Flexibility to travel.
• Strong knowledge of architectural balustrading and secondary steelwork.
