Are you passionate about shaping the future of construction professionals? One of the UK’s leading apprenticeship providers is looking for an enthusiastic Multi‑Skills Learning Coach to join their dynamic team. This is your chance to make a real impact by guiding learners through their Foundation Apprenticeship and helping them thrive.

Working as a learning coach with 16‑to‑21‑year‑olds delivering the new foundation apprenticeship in on‑site trades. Expectations are to deliver basic brick, carpentry and plastering skills to learners that meet the foundation apprenticeship knowledge, skills and behaviours. To go out to employers and support the apprentices at work and help them to settle into their first job role.

What You’ll Do
  • Coach and inspire apprentices to develop the technical knowledge and skills needed for success in construction roles.
  • Manage and teach a caseload of Level 2 learners on Foundation Apprenticeship programmes.
  • Deliver engaging lessons on basic brickwork, plastering and carpentry and joinery skills (i.e. mixing cement, cutting techniques, tool management etc.) to classes of approx. 10 students.
  • Mark assignments and apprenticeship tasks to ensure quality and progress.
  • Observe practice and provide constructive feedback to drive growth.
  • Ensure evidence for learning, achievement, funding and Ofsted is captured effectively and timely, including:
    • 20 % OJT requirements fully met and recorded as per procedure
    • Learners achieve the highest grade in EPA they are capable of
    • Individualised learning programmes, agreed with employer and learner based on initial assessments and including maths and English
  • Engage the learner’s line manager, making clear their responsibilities and working collaboratively to provide support, guidance and opportunities for learning.
  • Plan the end‑point assessment process with learners and employers, ensuring preparation and practice is included in the learning plan.
  • Inspire and motivate learners, identify any barriers and adapt to your learner’s needs.
  • Deliver maths and English (and ICT where applicable), to support the learner’s achievement and progress in these areas.
  • Ensure marking and feedback to the learner is accurate and supports their development.
  • Work closely with IQAs on best practice, development needs and providing sampling, monitoring as detailed in the IQA plan.
  • Produce accurate and timely reports as agreed with your line manager based on your KPIs.

  • Desirable: Assessor qualifications (TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/33) of government‑funded training and apprenticeship standards
