Job Description

You will lead in a one‑team culture while actively contributing to your own skills and experience. As Lead Electrical Design Engineer you will co‑ordinate the design team to deliver required outputs for a portfolio of projects under the guidance of a design manager. The role requires a deep understanding of water and wastewater treatment equipment and processes.

• Lead and coordinate electrical design teams, ensuring timely delivery of design outputs.
• Produce procurement specifications, cable calculations and detailed design construction drawings.
• Project‑manage third‑party designs and provide design assistance to installation and commissioning teams.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, mechanical, civil and structural designers.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, CDM regulations, and other relevant legislation.
• Monitor design delivery performance, adjust resources and update the MIDP as required.
• Conduct regular project meetings and manage design change control.

Essential Qualifications:
