Are you an experienced construction lawyer ready to take ownership of high-value, high-impact construction contracts for a major PLC?

We are working with a leading FTSE-listed business who are seeking a Senior Construction Lawyer to join their established in-house legal team. This is a key hire and offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of the business's ambitious build programme across the UK.

The Role
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of construction contracts (bespoke amendments, consultant appointments, collateral warranties, etc.).
  • Partner with commercial and technical teams to support end-to-end delivery of builds.
  • Take the lead in improving contract management processes and driving efficiencies across the legal and operational functions.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders and external panel law firms.
  • Deliver internal training on construction-related legal matters, keeping the business informed and compliant.
You will be
  • A qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with solid post-qualification experience in non-contentious construction law.
  • Background from private practice, in-house, or a mix of both.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts.
  • Comfortable working autonomously while collaborating effectively with commercial stakeholders.
