Job summary

Morson Group invites applications for a Health and Safety Manager (Construction) based in Walsall. This permanent role starts October 2026, with a salary circa £48,000 per annum and includes a car allowance or vehicle as part of the benefits.

The HSE Manager will develop, implement and manage comprehensive safety and environmental programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and a culture of safety across Midlands projects.

Qualifications

• HSE professional with considerable experience in construction or building services.
• NEBOSH Level 3 Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety.
• NEBOSH Construction or equivalent.
• Experience of undertaking health and safety audits.
• Experience of creating RAMS for complex works.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation and standards.
• Accident and incident investigation experience.
• Excellent attention to detail, planning and communication with clients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and manage safety and environmental programs to ensure safe, compliant workplaces.
• Monitor regulatory compliance and minimize workplace hazards.
• Interact with operations teams and customers to document HSE aspects and ensure works meet expectations.
• Outline proposals and work with delivery teams to implement solutions.
