Are you passionate about creating safe, compliant, and thriving construction environments? We are currently seeking a Construction Health & Safety Officer to join one of the cities' largest estate holders on an interim basis to oversee an exciting period of re-development.

In this pivotal role, you’ll lead on health and safety for all building works—from new builds and refurbishments to maintenance projects—ensuring compliance with CDM Regulations 2015 and the highest safety standards.

What You’ll Do
  • Shape and implement construction health & safety policies and procedures.
  • Advise on safety across major projects and campus-wide initiatives.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
  • Deliver training and guidance to staff and contractors.
  • Collaborate with the client's Health & Safety Team and external bodies like the HSE.
What We’re Looking For
  • Degree in a construction-related discipline.
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in construction safety management.
  • Strong knowledge of CDM regulations and health & safety legislation.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Desirable: Chartered status (CIOB, RICS, RIBA), IOSH/APS membership, NEBOSH Diploma.
