Job summary

Danny Sullivan Group is seeking a reliable Handyman for a 2-month project at a construction site in Appleby-in-Westmorland (CA16 6AA). The rate is £16.57 per hour PAYE, with start date to be confirmed.

You will perform general maintenance and handyman duties, ensuring the site remains safe, tidy and well maintained. Applicants must hold a valid CSCS card, have prior handyman or maintenance experience, and be able to work under site health and safety rules.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS card - essential.
• Previous Handyman or general maintenance experience.
• Experience carrying out basic repairs and maintenance.
• Good practical skills and ability to use basic hand tools.
• Understanding of construction site health and safety procedures.
• Ability to follow site instructions and work independently.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Available for the 2-month contract.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance, basic repairs and handyman duties around the construction site.
• Assist trades and site personnel where required and follow all site health and safety procedures.
• Help keep the site tidy, safe and well maintained.
