Job summary

Taylor Made Recruitment is seeking a Construction Design Manager in Gloucestershire to lead a small design team and deliver high-quality outputs using Revit and CAD. You will drive BIM Level 2 compliance, mentor staff, and maintain strong client relationships on industrial projects.

The role requires leadership experience, advanced Revit/CAD skills, and a solid understanding of construction methods and CDM Regs 2015. Hybrid working with office presence in Gloucestershire is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience as Construction Design Manager with leadership of a design team.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit and CAD, including large industrial projects.
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods and CDM Regs 2015.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Design Department (4-6 staff) to produce high-quality designs.
• Create detailed 3D models and GA drawings using Revit.
• Ensure BIM Level 2 compliance and value-engineer solutions.
• Build relationships with clients and external stakeholders.
• Mentor designers and foster excellence and innovation.
