Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group, based in Kent, is seeking an experienced Bid Writer to join the team and drive high-quality tender submissions. You will lead the end-to-end process, coordinating with commercial, operational and technical teams to gather essential information and craft persuasive responses.

The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance and timely submissions, with opportunities to develop case studies and build a robust library of bid content for ongoing proposals.

Qualifications

• Experience as Bid Writer or Bid Coordinator, ideally in construction.
• Excellent written communication and proofreading skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce persuasive content.
• Experience with tenders, PQQs and ITTs.
• Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Confident liaising with cross-functional teams to gather information.

Responsibilities

• Write, coordinate and produce high-quality bid and tender submissions.
• Prepare responses to PQQs, ITTs and SQs.
• Collaborate with commercial, operational and technical teams to gather information.
• Review tender documentation for key requirements, deadlines and evaluation criteria.
• Ensure submissions are accurate, compliant and on time.
• Develop case studies and supporting bid documentation.
• Manage multiple bids and deadlines.
• Maintain a library of bid content and information.
