Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Construction Assurance Manager to join our team delivering on critical national infrastructure projects. You will implement client-side assurance plans, monitor contractor adherence to QMS and ITPs, and report to leadership and regulators on progress and quality.

The role requires extensive construction delivery experience, a degree in Engineering or Construction Management, and ideally Chartered status.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Construction management or related discipline.
• Chartered status (CEng, MCIOB, MRICS, MICE) or equivalent (desirable).
• Experience in construction assurance and quality management.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a large project team, including construction managers, contractors and supply chains.

Responsibilities

• Implement client-side construction assurance plan.
• Monitor and verify that contractors implement approved construction methodologies, QMS and ITPs.
• Provide assurance that construction works are delivered safely to required quality and compliance with design, technical standards, contract requirements and regulatory obligations.
• Monitor construction progress against the accepted programme.
• Construction Management Plan oversight and acceptance.
• Act as client representative on site.
• Produce assurance reports to leadership and regulators.
• Capture lessons learned and drive improvements in construction quality, safety and delivery.
• Manage and support any safety incidents.
