CONSTRUCTION SOLICITOR (SENIOR ASSOCIATE LEVEL- 6 YEARS PQE+) BELFAST

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Construction Solicitor to join a leading, dynamic team in Belfast. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented solicitor with a strong technical background in construction law, to work with a varied and exciting client base.

As part of a highly respected team, you will advise on all aspects of construction matters with a focus on contentious construction. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload, support the growth of the team, and work with top clients.

The Role
  • Advise clients on a wide range of construction law matters.
  • Provide practical legal solutions to construction professionals, contractors, developers, and clients.
  • Manage your own caseload efficiently, ensuring deadlines and compliance are met.
  • Liaise with clients, stakeholders, experts, and counsel to provide strategic legal advice and support.
  • Stay up to date with changes in construction law and industry best practices.
  • Support business development efforts, including networking and promoting the firm’s construction law expertise.
The Person
  • Qualified Solicitor in Northern Ireland or England & Wales (minimum of 6 years PQE).
  • Proven experience in construction law, including contract law, disputes, and regulatory matters.
  • Strong technical knowledge of construction legislation and industry practices.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload and work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive and client-focused approach with a passion for business development.
