Job summary

A leading engineering recruitment firm is seeking a Construction Area Engineer for a permanent position in Bridgwater, Somerset. You will support a major power station construction project, reporting to the onsite Construction Manager. Responsibilities include producing RAMS for heavy equipment installation and overseeing on-site operations. Ideal candidates will have an HNC or equivalent, relevant industry experience, and must meet security clearance requirements. This role offers approximately 45 hours per week with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of the Engineering and Construction Industry, particularly in Oil, Gas, and Nuclear.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.K.
• CCNSG or CSCS HS&E MAPS Test certification required.

Responsibilities

• Report to the onsite Construction Manager.
• Produce RAMS for the installation of Heavy Equipment.
• Oversee the installation of equipment on site.

The Role:

Integrate Engineering Resources are recruiting for a Construction Area Engineer for a permanent position on behalf of our client, to support a major power station construction project in Somerset. The role will involve reporting to the onsite Construction Manager, producing RAMS for the installation of Heavy Equipment such as Pumps, Motors, Exchangers, Vessels, Skids, Small Tanks etc. then overseeing the installation of that equipment on site.

Training:

• HNC Standard or equivalent in relevant field.
• Thorough understanding of the Engineering and Construction Industry namely within Oil, Gas and Nuclear.
• CCNSG or CSCS HS&E MAPS Test
• Must be eligible to work in the U.K and subject to acceptance/ approval of the BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) Application and DBS Security Clearance (Disclosure & Barring Service Check)
