Job summary

Dovetail and Slate is recruiting a Lecturer in Construction and the Built Environment in the UK. This permanent role is 37 hours per week with salary bands for unqualified and qualified tracks plus market rate allowances.

The lecturer will deliver high-quality learning experiences across Technical Construction programmes, work with industry partners, monitor progress and support learners toward achieving a recognised teaching qualification where needed.

Qualifications

• Professional experience within the construction industry.
• Desirable: a teaching qualification (candidates without one will be supported to achieve this).

Responsibilities

• Teaching across a range of Technical Construction courses.
• Helping learners develop the practical skills, knowledge and confidence needed to succeed in industry.
• Contributing to the development and delivery of engaging programmes alongside colleagues, employers and industry partners.
• Monitoring learner progress, setting targets and providing guidance throughout their programme.
